The incredible Chris Koza is playing a free show with his band Rogue Valley this Friday, August 28 (Truman Week) on the downtown square.

Koza’s released four amazing solo CDs and Rogue Valley is releasing four CDs in 2010; the second of these four CDs was just released to a huge crowd at Minneapolis’s famed First Avenue (where Prince’s Purple Rain was filmed).

The Summer on the Square Concert Series runs every Friday night from June through August and is held on the lawn of the Adair County Courthouse. Artists from the community, as well as the surrounding areas are sought to perform by a volunteer committee of 6-10 individuals, chaired by a Kirksville Arts Association board member, interested in the Performing Arts.
